Corrections Policy

Spread the love

Accuracy matters. If you find an error in a Movieshala article, we want to fix it.

How to report a correction

Email our contact form with the article URL, the specific claim you believe is wrong, and the source you would like us to consult. We acknowledge correction requests within 48 hours.

Our process

  1. The editor reviews the request against original sources.
  2. If the claim is wrong, the article is updated with the correct information.
  3. A correction note is appended at the bottom of the article describing what was changed and when.
  4. Major corrections (those that change the meaning of the headline) trigger a re-promotion of the corrected article on our social channels.

Retractions

If an entire article is found to be substantively wrong, we retract it. Retracted articles return a clear “Retracted” notice rather than disappearing silently.

Standing corrections
